4 more weeks!!!

Hey guys!!! I hope your week is wonderful. We are EEEAARRRGGGERLY awaiting Miss Emery's arrival. We only have 4 weeks until she's due, which means she could really be here any time. I have her bag packed w/ way more than I'm sure I need to bring her home, but I didn't want to forget anything, or have to have Chris come home to get anything. (I'm sure he will anyway. :)

We had some maternity photos done at 34 weeks, by a man named Shawn St. Peter. He's a wonderful photographer based here in Vancouver. You can visit his site @ www.shawnstpeter.com We were very happy w/ him and the completion of our photos. Here are a few.

I honestly can not wait to see the look on Chris' face, the moment he holds his baby girl. I think that is what I'm looking forward to most of all. I just want to see his face. I honestly think that will be the very best moment of my life....

Have a great week! Hopefully the next time I write, we will either be exceptionally close, or bringing home our precious gift!
Love,

Happy New Year!!!

PhotobucketHow was everyone's Christmas and New Year? We got soooo much snow here! We almost beat records I think... I know my office was closed for the week, as were most others downtown. The freeways are crap now because of people using chains, and for days there were just abandoned cars on the sides of the roads because people felt safer just walking.. or they got stuck. lol
The snow made it hard on Christmas eve since my fam lives in Hillsboro and I live here in the Couve, but we made it over there just in time for din. After everyone ventured out and slid around, no one felt much like gaming or doing much other than relaxing. Christmas morning was great though. We didn't have to go outside, we could just watch the snow fall and laugh as the dogs wondered what was under their toes. Chris and I were like little kids waiting for Santa. We couldn't wait to get up, so by 7 am we were eating breakfast and opening presents. Santa was sure good to me!

There's a fun new restaurant on 192nd called Tommy O's. Its got a fun atmosphere and at least for New Years, had live music. We reserved a table there for dinner, which was fantastic by the way, and headed to some friends house for poker later. (I kicked booty by the way.. in case anyone was wondering who won! :) Chris and I brought in yet another New Year, together and so happy about it.PhotobucketPhotobucket

We just have a couple more weeks everybody before the newest Crouch is here!!! I was having big contractions yesterday that went away in the afternoon and came back after cleaning the house last night. Just in case, I started packing her hospital bag, more to make sure I don't forget anything, but also so I'm not running around aimlessly when I need to get things together... Now watch, I'll get all ready, and it will be WEEEEKS! lol Just my luck. :)

I hope everyone is enjoying the New Year so far! We love you!!!
